According to Mr. Liu, economic growth and development means transition is fundamentally the transition of energy production and consumption means. Energy safety and sustainable supply issue has become China’s top priority. Solar PV generation is the ideal new energy for human existence and survival.

Additionally, Chairman Liu emphasized on the apparent advantages of solar PV generation with respect to its energy conversion rate, abundant natural resources in China’s west, complete business chain cost advantage, as well as huge power generation volume equating to 1-2 times of China’s total consumption volume. Furthermore, developing solar power generation could positively promote the construction of major power network, achieving power balance between western and eastern China.
