August, 23, the annual meeting of Sichuan Enterprise Confederation (SCEC) and Sichuan Enterprise Informationization Summit was held in Chengdu. SCEC Chairman Zou Guangyan, and Deputy Director of Sichuan Commission of Economy and informationization Zhang Guobin addressed the conference. The conference published Report on Sichuan Enterprise Informationization Construction Survey, and awarded individuals and companies with special contributions in this area. Board chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan received the award.

The Report pointed out Sichuan enterprises’ shortcomings in EIC: lack of evaluation system and indicators, as well as in hardware, software input; insufficient knowledge in the importance and necessity of EIC. The report further pointed out the innovation requirements for traditional companies in corporate theory, business model, management philosophy, operation model, and management means.
