July, 28, 3^rd general assembly of the national association of industry and commerce was held in Beijing. The assembly elected the new leadership of the chamber. Tongwei Group was the nominee company for the position of executive vice chairman. Standing committee member of the CPPCC, board chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan was selected executive vice chairman of the 3^rd council.

The assembly first held the preparatory meeting. The attendees were candidates by the leading organ of the 3^rd council. At the meeting, chairman of the previous session Li Hejun, and secretary-general Zeng Shaojun made presentations on the content and procedures of the meeting, and exchanged ideas with the representatives. Mr. Zeng announced the chamber’s new name as National Association of Industry and Commerce New Energy Chamber of Commerce (Quanlian New Energy Chamber of Commerce), which is legally qualified.

In the afternoon, 1^st plenary meeting of the 3^rd general assembly, 1^st council of the 3^rd session, board of supervisor were held.  Vice Chairman of the national association of industry and commerce Huang Xiaoxiang, deputy secretary general Ouyang Xiaoming attended the meetings. Standing committee member of the CPPCC and board chairman of Tongwei Group Liu Hanyuan was appointed executive vice chairman of the chamber of commerce.
