May, 24, Ye Hanyong, Vice Director from Sichuan Channel of Xinhuanet.com, and head of network news, Sichuan Branch, Xinhua news agency, made an interview with Liu Zhiquan, General Manager of the Food Business Division, on the agricultural industrial chain build-up of Tongwei, Co., Ltd.

Under the direction of Document No. 10 by the State Council, the purpose of this interview was to understand the industrial chain build-up and development of the State’s key leading agricultural industrialized companies in Sichuan, summarized the highlights and accumulated experience. As the first interviewee, Tongwei showcased the technology-led and market-oriented drive for the industry’s development and revolution by incessant exploration and great achievements.

Mr. Liu introduced to Mr. Ye Tongwei business chain’s strategic procedures, status quo, and future development. He emphasized on the progressive and scientific nature of industrial chain business model, taking the example of Ronglai Model, which had best demonstrated the dialectical coexistence between business chain build-up and the actual generated profits for farmers.

The next day, Mr. Ye and visitors paid a field trip to Qionglai, visited Ronglai Tongwei’s producing workshop, and inquired about raw material procurement, producing procedures and transport delivery for feed. They further checked the production line at the slaughtering workshop of Chunyuan Food, and gave high credit to Chunyuan’s high standard in quality supervision.

At the conference afterwards, General Manager of Ronglai Tongwei, Mr. Sun Zhiwei said, Ronglai Model had gone through years of development, and had reached the level of being duplicated all over the country with its feature of traceability system covering breeding, farming, slaughtering, processing, marketing, and finally to dinning tables. Under the guidance and instructions of Chairman Liu, an integrated swine business chain will be formed with a production base providing top quality Gold Card Pork meat products for Chengdu. Meanwhile, the duck meat industry will also provide healthy, safe and fresh products to the neighboring areas. Chunyuan Food’s General Manager Zhong Kun explained Chunyuan’s management structure, as well as the synergy effect between upstream and downstream industrial chains. Mr. Ye gave high credit to the company’s brilliant achievements. He said Tongwei had best explored and utilized social producing resources. The win-win scenario has been realized in the sense that farmers had obtained maximum guarantee from corporate capital strength.

Later in the afternoon, Mr. Ye and delegates visited Chunyuan Eco-farming Company, and Xintaifeng duck farm, talking with farmers to get first-hand feedback on scientific guarantee measures during the farming process.

After the research visit, Mr. Ye confirmed his appraisal on Tongwei’s production chain which owns a complete system, clear division, and rational structure. He expressed his belief on Tongwei’s prospective future to create more wealth for farmers.
