Tongwei invited to visit the CCC

June, 18, headed by CTF Wu Xudong, Tongwei delegation started a 9-day visit to Canada and received welcome from Canada’s China representative Wang Ruojun, and Canadian representative Mr. Les Nernberg.

Mr. Wu and delegation visited Canadian fisheries research institute, farms, cooperatives, crushing facilities, storage and transfer facilities, and traders. In addition, they also get to know more information of Canola Council of Canada’s planting, processing, storage, transportation, trade, export and the application of local feed formula.

The key area of this visit is Vancouver and the canola producing area Manitoba province. The delegation visited the representatives of the four major grain merchants ADM, Bunge, Cargill, and Lious Dreyfus in Canada. The delegation also visited the representatives of three major trading companies, and exchanged ideas on issues concerning trade links. Furthermore, the delegation visited the aquaculture research institute in BC province, Bryan’s farm, and collective farm and feed mill of Starlite Colony, Viterra’s Crushing facilities, Richardson loading dock, Hylife’s headquarters, as well as AgriMarine’s salmon fish farming company, and discussed with them on issues concerning preliminary project cooperation. 

By this visit, Tongwei and the CCC established better understanding of each other. The visit laid a solid foundation for both sides’ future trade, and technical project cooperation with enhanced mutual trust.
