Chairman Liu inspects Ronglai area

July, 8, Chairman Liu paid an inspection visit to Ronglai Tongwei in company with assistant president of Tongwei Co., Ltd., general manager of Tonglai area, Wan Xuegang, as well as CMO Wang Shangwen.

Mr. Liu visited Ronglai Tonwei’s big farm partners, and made a keynote speech at Food Business Unit’s 2011 H1 operation analysis and H2 work planning meeting. After the meeting, he visited Ronglai Tongwei’s livestock and poultry feed dealers and farmers, and analyzed high-priced pork price market quotation and its future trend at the work briefing conference.

After the meeting, Mr. Liu visited Dayi Lixiangshanhe breeding company, and discussed with the general manager Zhao Yongxiang about issues of farming scale, breeding stock, marketable fattened stock, and pork price trend. The company expressed its intension to cooperate with Tongwei. Afterwards, Mr. Liu visited Sichuan Shangqing agricultural development company, and discussed with the general manager Xu Yingjie on issues of farming in Taiwan and Mainland China, pork market, and farming prospect. The two sides both hope to extend cooperation areas.

In the afternoon, Mr. Liu went to Chunyuan Food’s slaughtering rooms to communicate with officers on technical issues.

At Tongwei Food Business Unit’s 2011 H1 business analysis and H2 work planning meeting, Mr. Liu listened to the work briefing by vice president Liu Zhiquan. Mr. Liu said, during farming process, we need to consider about industrialized and industrial chain mode, analyze our competitive advantage on cost, and discuss whether the current high pork price is accidental or inevitable. It is crucial to make precise judgment on the structure scale, basic market quotation, and trend of farming production. It is necessary to improve Tongwei Food’s competiveness by promoting the industrial chain’s sound development, and bring synergies of all subsidiaries into full play. Mr. Liu said, the current high price of fish, pork, livestock and poultry price provide a good opportunity for traditional agriculture to make place for large-scale farming.
